A: Yes! While Metarom USA combines well over 100 years of experience in flavors, caramel extracts, functional ingredients, and vanilla bean products, our expertise doesn’t mean we don’t work directly with our clients. Regularly, we conduct tours for guests from all over the country at our state-of-the-art facility in San Diego, CA. We also have further education and tasting session options. We want you to collaborate with us, so don’t hesitate to reach out and arrange a time to visit us in person.
Q: Who creates your flavors?
A: Here at Metarom USA, we combine global experience with a local focus. Our customer experience is designed to be collaborative. So, if you work with us, you will be involved in the flavor creation process. Our talented team of expert flavor chemists will design flavor options based on your requirements, and then you get to taste, judge, and accept. We can work together to create your flavors.
Q: Can you create a flavor we do not see listed on your site?
A: Yes! While we’ve worked hard to perfect many options that are more ready-made, we offer customization options for our flavor profiles. Let us know what you’re looking for, and we can make it happen.
Q: Can you create caramels that are sugar-free?
A: Yes! While we have a diverse range of flavors, caramels are our specialty, as that’s where we got our start over 60 years ago. We have a huge range of caramel products, including sugar-free options as well as other nutritional requirements. Reach out to us for support in crafting your perfect caramel.
Q: We’re looking to mask the flavor of our vitamins. Can you help us with that?
A: Yes! We offer a variety of functional flavors, including masking agents such as bitter blockers that specifically target unwanted tastes of desired ingredients. This means that you get the nutritional benefits of the vitamins without being stuck with the less-than-delicious flavor. Contact our team if you know what vitamins your recipe uses, and we can find the right masking agent for your needs.
Q: We produce hard seltzer, and we’re looking to expand the flavors we offer. Do you work on alcoholic flavors as well?
